In for lunch , parking lot was very clean. Foyer was clean. The men's bathroom had a broken hand soap dispenser. The parts were laying on the counter. Wet floor signs in foyer and dining area to great us. Still there when we left. Waiter did not offer us any specials or lunch menu. He did not offer us any desserts at the end of the meal. Our food was very good. The buffalo wrap was awesome and the burger cooked to perfection. Portion size and presentation were good. Dining here is a very good value.

Several years ago a friend in Kalamazoo raved about a great restaurant he wanted to take me to. It had great atmosphere, a menu with enough options for everyone, and good service. This was my first experience with Brann's. I was hooked from the moment I had my first roll with Cinnamon butter. Since that time, whenever I visit a relative in the Grand Rapids area I can generally convince them to go Brann's for lunch or dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that they had opened one in Bay City, and after having dinner there tonight, I would be surprised if this iteration of Brann's keeps it's doors open very long. The decor seems very generic, closer to what one might expect at a nice soup and salad place. It's nothing like the Brann's in Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids. I sat at the bar and for the duration of my visit there, my name had been changed from Chris to Hun by both bartenders which is tacky. In addition, there was no music or tv to listen which is odd for a bar. What I did get to listen to was a 20 something bartender to complaining about her hot flashes and the 4 guys at the bar who seemed to be regulars already which is interesting given that this place has only been open a little more than an month. I ordered wings and they were served in a reasonable amount of time, which is the the best part of the food order. Several wings only partially covered in sauce and most wings were warm to luke warm.

Well decided to give this place a second chance, that was a mistake!! We wanted honey mustard waitress said they don't carrying it anymore and won't have it back, fried green tomatoes had to send back Bc they were not hot or done all the way, rueban sandwich the bread was barely even toasted or grilled, other sandwich bread was not very fresh. Sorry to say never be back again!!

Brann's is, no doubt, THE BEST VALUE in Bay City, yea, verily, the ENTIRE STATE! $8.99 for an awesome sizzler steak, and .99¢ for a desert??? DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!

My husband and I went here around 3 in the afternoon. It wasn't very busy...but we didn't have anyone greet us at the door. We sat ourselves and I went into the bathroom. Came out and still no server,no menus for another 15 mins. We almost walked put when someone came out and asked if anyone had been to our table yet. Then this person sent the slowest server EVER!!! He didn't suggest anything but the ribs all you can eat and wings. We ordered coffee and he didn't bring but 1 creamer and two sugars after I asked for Splenda. He brings Sweet and Low generic brand. Then I ordered steak with mushrooms and husband orders ribs. We got the rolls and they were tough. My husband was starting to get a piece stuck in his throat..and I asked him if he was choking. I know the Heimilch and when my husband was saying "stuck' I knew he was getting air. This server comes over and asks if was OK, I said "Can I get a water ?" She just stands there and I yell "NOW". She goes slowly to the kitchen and gets her manager. Fortunately, my husband got the roll piece unstuck before I started to push on his abdomen. The waitress comes over with a water and the manager brings over some Pepsi. Both of them don't know the Heimilch, good to know. The waiter checked on us during our salads..but didn't bring my mushrooms or my steak sauce. Our baked potatoes were cold and our coffee wasn't refilled until our dinner was over. Will not go back!!!?

Went with a large party to this place. Had no idea what to expect going in. I heard their fried pickles were amazing, which they were. Probably the highlight of the meal, which unfortunately doesn't say much. Slightly spicy and fried, what else could you want? My food was OK, the pulled pork sandwich. Everyone else complained about how greasy or bland their food was. And this place lacks personality, most likely because it is new. All of the walls are painted different colors and are completely bare. It needs some sort of character to differentiate it from other available options nearby. It might be a good bar/appetizer hangout, but needs work to reach the sit down restaurant level.

Well, for the price, it was OK. I was not astounded, but I was not underwhelmed. Overall, experience was decent, but could have been stepped up on so many levels. Weather it be the flavors of the food, the decor, or the knowledge of the staff, all could be better. However, they are newer, so hopefully they will live up the hype of their other locations. I might return, I might not, either way, walked away still looking for the WOW factor.

This was our first time at Brann's. The waiter was excellent and could not be more accommodating. My husband had the sizzling steak, salad and fries. He said everything was good. The waiter waited for my husband to cut the steak to see if it was cooked correctly. The steak looked good to me. I had the 1lb. Ribs with a Caesar salad and fries. The Caesar salad was just mediocre. The ribs I did not like at all. You certainly get a lot of ribs for that pound. I could not eat it all. I also had the fries which were not as good as I expected. They were suppose to be seasoned. I could not tell. We are there on Sunday around 6:00 pm and the restaurant was not busy. We may try Brann's again and I will try something different than the ribs. I got the ribs because a friend recommended them.

Second time there, first time was great. Can't say that on this visit. Service was bad, and we had a 45 minute ticket time for 2 chicken salads and 2 rib platters. Chicken was over cooked and hard and ribs were cold. All the sides were cold also. Very disappointed in this visit. The manager Sandy did comp us and take some off are bill. We will give it one more try.

What can I say....great steak, great atmosphere with many TVs and VERY good prices. Pros: - Pretzel bread sticks with queso dip are hands down the best I've had. -Caesar salad is large and delicious. - Keno! - Best of all...prices! A great value overall. Cons: - The beer selection is average and could be better, honestly. Offer a wider variety of Michigan craft beers....please!!! - Do not order a baked potato....they are WAY over-cooked (i.e. Burnt). Go with fries or mashed. An easy 4 stars! We love this place, and it is hands down a better choice than Buffalo Wild Wings. If they improve the beer offerigs/selection they would be approaching 5 star territory!

Great food and reasonable prices. The rolls with honey cinnamon butter bought to our table were delicious! I ordered the Asiago Turkey Sandwich, it was delicious and very filling. My boyfriend ordered the wings and said they were good. The food came pretty quick even though the place was really busy. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Their decor could be better, like others mentioned, maybe they could have cut back on TVs and add some artwork. Even though there were a lot of TVs the volume was at a reasonable level, enough that you could hear it as well as hear the person across the table from you.

My third time and last time here. Every Time we ask ourselves why did we go there. The cheesecake is like frozen Saralee grocery store stuff. The potato skins need to be called onion skins (more onions than potatoes). Service was ok. I would avoid if possible.

I've never heard of this place but I'm assuming it is a chain. I was pretty much sold often the awesome hand blown glass with blueberry/ pomegranate lemonade was served to me. They have some fantastic cinnamon butter for your rolls as well. I had the Cajun steak - medium rare. It was perfect and I absolutely go there again. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rolls were kind of hard, and I feel like they serves their food to me on a dog dish or something haha

Bad service two times in a row. First time server messed up the bill and charged for things we didn't order. Second time server forgot to bring our dessert that we ordered with our food and didn't even ring it in. Also got nachos with no beef and found meat on it. I can't eat red meat and it's enough of a challenge to Find a menu item to take it off of!

If you are expecting good quality food you should look elsewhere. If you are looking for a cheap place to grab a beer and a cheap steak then this is your spot.

We've been here a total of three times, and the first two visits were great. We have four boys who if you can get them to eat everything on their plate - you are doing something right! They ate everything put in front of them and my husband and I also enjoyed our steaks in the past. Our last visit (5/2/2014) was disappointing - the steaks were not cooked how we asked, my mushrooms and onions were missing, the presentation was sloppy and the support waitress that served our meals was very rude and dismissive. Honestly for a Friday night the place wasn't even that busy so it came as a shock. We told our concerns to our waitress and the manager promptly came over and tried to make the night better for us by listening to our concerns. What we'd really like to see is the same level of service and deliciousness we experienced when they first opened. Customer service above all is key. The manager that night tried to right the wrong - but if the whole staff is not on board, this ship will be sunk.

Whoa, where are these bad review's coming from? This place is a diamond in the rough! Came for the Team Trivia finals. The server, forgot his name, was very friendly and for the most part, very good to me. I've been to a lot of Team Trivia events where the servers were incredibly annoying and disruptive, but this guy was great. Inside the restaurant was recently renovated with great seating and TV's everywhere. For some reason, I had bad vibes that the food wasn't going to be great. Don't know why, there were a lot of deals being thrown around like the place was desperate for business. I ordered a 12 ounce sirloin for $12.99 as part of a special. It was outstanding. Everything was outstanding and tasted great. A teammate of mine ordered some wings and I was just tempted to steal a couple out of his plate, they looked that tasty! I was incredibly surprised. I don't understand where the bad ratings are coming from. I would definitely drive from the Township to dine here again. It's better than most of the steakhouses in Saginaw, for certain, reasonably priced too. Well done, I have a new favorite!

Three of us went and it is really more a Sports Bar than a Steakhouse. Lots of TV's and noises, food is fair. The steak was good for the cut, wings hot and good, the apple salad was so-so as the lettuce was (packaged) stuff. Yuck! Service was wonderful.....

Disappointing, called themselves a steakhouse, only if you like sirloins. My burger I had was greasy, and lacking flavor. Decor was like a nice fast food restaurant, only highlight was our waitress, friendly and attentive. If I go back, it would only be for drinks.
